Drift Veterinary Surgery Services PLLC
Mobile small animal specialty surgery services
What is Drift?
Mobile Surgery
Drift Veterinary Surgery Services is a mobile surgery practice serving Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas. We provide specialty surgery services performed by a board certified surgeon in the comfort of your home clinic. Our team travels to your home clinic with all the needed specialized equipment to perform surgeries that would otherwise have to be referred out to a larger specialty hospital. Your pet remains in the care of their trusted primary care veterinarian who is most familiar with their specific needs while still receiving advanced care. Our goal is to work with your primary care veterinarian to provide improved comfort, convenience, and affordability when your pet needs an advanced surgical procedure.
Board Certification
Dr. Quandt, Drift’s surgeon, is board certified in small animal surgery by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS). This means that she completed 5 years of additional surgical training after becoming a veterinarian, passed a rigorous examination, and continues to fulfill continuing education requirements each year. This ensures not only sufficient training and understanding to perform advanced surgical procedures but also staying current with medical advances to provide the best possible care for your pet.
Why Choose Mobile
Drift strives to provide specialty surgical care at a more affordable price for pet owners in the comfort and convenience of their primary care clinic. This model allows everyone to benefit. Your pet receives gold standard advanced surgical care by a board certified surgeon with the team management of their trusted primary veterinarian at a more affordable cost. Your primary care veterinarian is able to continue to care for their loyal patients and clients while also keeping a portion of this revenue within their own clinic to keep their business running strong. Dr. Quandt gets to continue practicing state of the art medicine while reaching patients and clients who these services may not have been accessible to previously. It’s a win, win, win situation!
